
OVERVIEW
Enactus KNUST is a chapter of the global Enactus network, uniting students who use entrepreneurial action to create sustainable community impact. The club develops socially responsible leaders through hands-on projects, mentorship, and competition.
INITIATIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Current projects include Agricycle, SunaWash, PeellNova, Youngmom, and ReL — each a student-led social enterprise addressing local needs through innovation and business models. Members receive guidance from faculty advisors, alumni mentors, and a Business Advisory Board, and compete in national and international Enactus events.
STRUCTURE AND MEMBERSHIP EXECUTIVE ROLES
Team Lead: Overall strategic direction and operations oversight.
Human Resources Lead: Recruitment, onboarding, training, and member welfare.
Funds & Grants Lead: Funding strategy, grant writing, and partnerships.
Projects & Innovation Lead: Project oversight, impact measurement, and sustainability.
Technology Lead: Digital tools, data systems, and tech solutions.
Finance Lead: Budgeting, reporting, and financial controls.
Corporate Relations Lead: Partnerships, sponsorships, and stakeholder engagement.
Publicity Lead: Branding, media, and communications.
Project Heads: Direct Agricycle, SunaWash, PeellNova, and ReL — manage teams and execution
MEMBERSHIP EVALUATION
Prospective members join after an evaluation by the executive team that assesses skills, commitment, and fit with project needs. At the beginning of the year, applications are being opened (https://forms.gle/owBhf1K3TLRobMfGA) for interested undergrads to apply for an interview session.
IMPACT
Enactus builds leadership, enterprise skills, and measurable social impact in beneficiary communities while preparing students for the workplace.
